SWK Health and Safety Consulting was formed by Stephen Kerr. Prior to launching the business, he gained extensive experience in various health and safety management roles. Having acquired this practical knowledge, he now applies it to underpin the services SWK provides to its clients.

Stephen’s commitment to professional standards is demonstrated by his Chartered membership of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). He is also listed on the Occupational Safety and Health Consultants Register (OSHCR), a nationally recognised register of health and safety professionals who meet strict criteria for qualifications, experience and professional conduct. This gives clients confidence that they are working with a competent independently assessed consultant who meets recognised industry standards.

He is a qualified Lead Auditor for ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 9001 (Quality Management), offering comprehensive support from initial system development through to certification
readiness and beyond.

Stephen is also a certified IOSH Trainer and holds other formal training qualifications, enabling him to deliver a wide range of health and safety courses designed to address the unique requirements of each organisation.

These credentials demonstrate his ability to provide expert consultancy in health and safety and ISO management systems, as well as deliver tailored training to businesses ranging from SMEs to large corporate organisations.
